Community Development Facilitator 

Coordinating Connect Up is a big part of my role at CRCS. My journey with Connect Up began in April 2025, as a Community Connector for the University of Canberra’s research pilot Connect Up 2617 where I created Social Board Games and helped out numerous other social groups. 

I love being part of Connect Up. It feels groundbreaking for how rising modern issues of social isolation can be combated, and there is a real positivity and optimism in what we do. 

I completed my studies in Community Services last year, and now coordinate our Connect Up volunteers, run our social media pages, pop in to all of our social groups, and help create new ones which I love so much. I value my exercise and source it in a few different ways; walking Maya (my Golden Retriever), playing soccer, bouldering, pickleball, and joining in on our Social Badminton sessions. 

I’m a big music head, attending many festivals and concerts every year. Some recent highlights for me would be Mk.Gee, Sampha, Cameron Winter and Quadeca. Let me know if you have any recommendations!
